Ben Severance

Ben is an EMMY award winning commercial and film director and editor working with clients such as United Nations, Intel, Unilever, New Balance and Nature Conservancy among many others. He was once a photojournalist and is now the founder of bi-coastal creative production company Timber + Frame.

Ben’s documentary work has been supported by the Tribeca Film Institute, National Geographic, CNN Films, and Points North Institute. Ben has directed and produced projects in remote and challenging locations including the Mexico/US border, Patagonia, Bosnia and the Ecuadorian Amazon.

Originally a photojournalist who graduated from the nationally renowned photojournalism program at Western Kentucky University, his photography work has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists, National Press Photographers Association and the William Randolph Hearst Competition, known as the Pulitzers of college journalism.
